I actually like soy milk more, in fact more than normal milk.Although that may depend on the brand, and I don’t know what it does with ice cream.
Unfortunately, they soy milk stuff makes my mouth itchy, throat scratchy, and gives a bit of a funny feeling to my stomach, and flushing it down with water doesn’t help.
Maybe I shouldn’t…, meh. I already had to leave out most of fruit due to this. Ironically, no issues with pineapples and kiwis. I’ve heard someone say the pineapple core is just trash because it makes their tongue numb and is just hard anyway. I’ll just chew it and the only drawback is having to floss afterwards.

Vegan ice cream exists, unless you count coconuts as mammals (since they have hair and produce milk).
Coconuts produce water. Coconut milk is made by pureeing coconut meat and mixing it with cononut water.
Coconuts don’t produce anything “milky” on their own. Coconut watet is clear.
Now I’m thinking about what it would be like to puree beef with cow’s milk. I’m sure the steak shake already exists somewhere in the States.
I mean… that’s kinda a sliding scale. You can get coconut milk by just squeezing it out of coconut flesh, I’ve seen it done before. Saying coconuts don’t produce milk is kinda like saying oranges don’t produce juice.
