I’m looking for suggestions for my drum jam-along playlist, so any song you love that has a good beat I’m open to. Whatcha got?
Edit: for clarification my plan is to add all these to a playlist and tomorrow my practice session is gonna just be jamming to that playlist. Load me up!

Brian Eno - Here Come the Warm Jets (drums kick in at about 2 mins)

Local H - “Cha” Said the Kitty

- Kashmir - Led Zeppelin. Really anything from Physical Graffiti or by John Bonham.
- Caravan - Buddy Rich
- The Blues Walk - Max Roach & Clifford Brown
- Tom Sawyer - Rush. Or really anything else with Neil Peart.
- John the Fisherman - Primus. They won’t be the same since Tim “Herb” Alexander left the band, but I’m sure he has his reasons.(also: Hamburger Train, Over the Electric Grapevine, Tommy the Cat, Mr. Knowitall, Harold of the Rocks)
- Discipline - King Crimson (also: Thela Hun Ginjeet and most of the rest of the album, which seems to mostly treat the guitar as a percussion instrument more than most.)

I love watching the studio video of Tom Sawyer. The intensity of all of them when they record that, especially Peart.

Edit - actually now that I think of it, Avatar has pretty aggressive beats across the board - might want to dig through their other stuff too.
