It seems that every one I stumble on is Swerfy.
- Do you have problems with the wording and you were looking for communities on lemmy or do you really think you’ll find reddit recommendations here? Oo - I suppose they’re just not used to saying “communities” instead of “subreddits”

- Most of us don’t use reddit I don’t think. We wouldn’t know.
- swerf - I had to look that up (wikipedia): - Feminists who oppose the acceptance and endorsement of prostitution by rebranding it as “sex work” are sometimes disparagingly labeled as “sex worker-exclusionary radical feminists” or “SWERFs”. These argue that the term “sex work” contains political assumptions, rather than being a neutral term. They argue the term endorses the idea that sex is labour for women and leisure for men, according men the social and economic power to act as a ruling class in the matter of intercourse, and also implies that women’s bodies exist as a resource to be used by other people.[52][53] - So yeah, 1) this isn’t reddit, and 2) the combination you’re looking for might not exist, based on what I think you are asking. - If you’re a 45 year old man with shot knees and a wrecked back, you probably sold your body as a commodity. - I’m a 40 y/o man with body parts that complain on an irregular basis. I sold my body, still do. Millwrighting ain’t easy. - Don’t worry, we’ll be dead soon, and then it’s all gravy. - We’re* - And then we’re all gravy. - Nope. I’ll be cremated or eaten raw. It’s going to be hype.

- Come see us at [email protected] we have zero tolerance on transphobia and there’s a post today about sex worker pride day
- Be the change you want to see. Unless they harass you for being positive toward sw, just keep posting there. You’ll never find a community where everyone agrees 100% on everything. Reminding people that hostility towards sex workers is part of patriarchal values is more useful than an echo chamber. - (I’m assuming “reddit” was a slipup)
- Are swerfs just feminists who disagree with prostitution and its “ideological sanitisation” or am I getting it twisted?
- I would suggest you look for femenist comunities and check the vibe or ask how they think about it. Depending on that you might luckily find something. - I’m aware of Fermi fans, Fami collectors, and even Farsi nerds, but what’s a femenist?
