In what world do you think what you’re doing doesn’t count as spam

“B-but it’s really important!” doesn’t make it not spam. Stop acting like a victim for being told to stop spamming.

Maybe go spam it on conservative Facebook groups or something. Everyone here already agrees with you. You are accomplishing nothing.

At least keep it in relevant context to the post, don’t outright copypaste the same sentence. What you’re doing is not different from spam when you post it to all posts that are about Trump.

I agree with the message too, but the mod is right.

So you’re spamming forums so “left” we have literal tankies around here.

Do you think we’re not convinced already? Why not do this stuff around places that cater to American conservatives?

You’re more inclined to have people start disregarding the notion because of oversaturation of the sentiment. Much like how if someone repeats a word enough it starts to lose meaning.

I’m on your side. I want those involved to be incarcerated and removed from polite society. The tactic you’re employing is something Trump would do to trivialize the matter.

A better use for your time would be addressing MAGA cultists. Which is going to be hard to find here.

Maybe don’t stop posting but focus on making one good post a day and trying to generate good discussion?

Quality over quantity I think is the message.

Doesn’t seem like something that needs to be posted at all.

You can’t cry ‘censorship’ for obviously violating the platform’s rules. And also not even getting banned yet.

I mean, that’s kinda what Trump supporters tend to do on commercial social media platforms.

Do not engage in content manipulation such as posting spam content

I understand you think you’re an exception and don’t qualify as spam. The admins appear to disagree. Going by comments here, the community seems to disagree.

So no matter how much you wave around your interpretation, I would assume you are going to get banned unless you stop doing this.

I dunno what you mean. You can keep doing what you’re doing without literally copy paste spamming the same message, if that is what you want. You can copy paste spam somewhere else and stay on Lemmy.

Helping populate the Fediverse, at the expense of corporate social media helping Trump, is a hugely positive thing.

What’s the point of throwing that away?

This behavior is as annoying as it is unhelpful. I agree that nobody should let the story fade from public interest but spamming random threads doesn’t accomplish that. It’s just obstructive and if anything it’s doing more harm than good. There is a thing called alarm fatigue. If you keep “shouting from your rooftop” you are just going to push your neighbors into shutting their windows.

Also maybe consider talking to a therapist about it? It’s none of my business but this level of investment seems unhealthy.

I think whether it qualifies as spam or not, is irrelevant. It’s semantics. What matters is whether or not it bothers people using the site. It doesn’t bother me, and I agree with the feeling. So please go ahead as far as I’m concerned.

On a different note : so much about Trump, and so little about releasing Luigi ! yet it must be shouted too ! lest he falls into forgettance.

Release Luigi and the Trump-Epstein files !

I think an important part of calling something spam is that it’s unwanted. I don’t mind the Epstein posts.

An equally important part of spam is the volume in a time span. Posting something positive, but massively repetitive, is also spam.

good sentiment, but spam is spam. no matter what you are saying if you have the most comments on an entire instance from saying it its spam.
