I’ve been playing a lot of video game soundtracks and lo-fi remakes.
Lyrics make it harder for me to focus, so instrumental stuff is less distracting, but I still recognize familiar songs.
This is my go to if I have to score high to pass the class and I’m running out of study time:

Polyphia playing quietly in the background. No lyrics to distract me. Variety between songs but not so much that it pulls me out of focusing.
Playlist? I have no more mental energy for a playlist.

Not a student, but when I study for certification exams, I listen to movie soundtracks. Stuff from Johann Johannsson, Nick Cave, Bear McCreary, Thomas Newman, Max Richter, and some Hans Zimmer. No lyrics so it’s not hard to concentrate.
