    BUT, it is true that every element within every molecule of your body did come from stars, and that all the elements heavier than hydrogen were created within either a star, or in a supernova.

    So it is absolutely true that you are stardust, just not in the way you asked.

      We’re mostly stardust, but maybe not all stardust. Hydrogen makes up about 9.5 percent of our bodies by mass and all the hydrogen in the universe was created in the big bang. While it is likely that the hydrogen in your body was part of a star at some point in the last 13 or 14 billion years, it is not an absolute certainty.
