Not offended, more just dumbfounded that someone could honestly not see how that is obviously a terrible idea.

See above, re me not always having good opinions about everything.

I cannot help being severely flawed. It comes with the whole homo sapiens thing.

But good for you not having any opinions most people in a certain community you’re in disagree with. That must be very nice for you.

So what you are saying (through an incredibly thick layer of condescension) is that you know your belief is wrong. And instead of changing your belief, you would rather maintain it, knowing it is wrong. That’s just bizarre.

You never asked me if I changed my belief. You decided I still hold it when you said, and I quote:

FlyingSquid believes that your internet browsing history should be made public if you are running for any political position. Worst take of all time.

Then again, I’m not the Flying Squid expert here.

I would have reasonably expected you to lead with that. You no longer belive that all politicians should be required to have their internet browsing history published?

If so, then I congratulate you on the personal growth.

You tell me. I’ve never even met Flying Squid apparently.

WTF are you on about now?

All I’m doing here is spotlighting your terrible opinion, which is relevant in a thread about why people don’t like you. If you no longer hold that opinion, then great, that’s growth. If you do, then I’m going to continue to refer to it as an example of your shitty takes.

You mean you are spotlighting a terrible opinion I held at the time but didn’t ask whether or not I held it until I pointed out you didn’t ask.

An opinion I have repeatedly suggested was not a good opinion.

Which, I would say, suggests that whether I say I do or I don’t, you don’t actually care and are just throwing out a platitude because you would essentially be forced to if I say I don’t.

It’s fine that you hate me, but just be honest about why.

Do you think it is reasonable to expect anybody referencing your words to reach out to you to ensure your publicly stated option is still up to date?

An opinion I have repeatedly suggested was not a good opinion.

If you know (or knew) it is not a good opinion, then why do you hold (or held) that opinion?

Which, I would say, suggests that whether I say I do or I don’t, you don’t actually care and are just throwing out a platitude because you would essentially be forced to if I say I don’t.

Your presumption of my intention is both incorrect and insulting.

It’s fine that you hate me, but just be honest about why.

This is another incorrect presumption of my intention. I have been true and honest in all my statements.
