Keep an eye on it. Might be 35 minutes, might take an hour.
I usually use a rice cooker but I think it’s roughly the equivalent of brown rice (because it’s also unhulled). In a rice cooker that’s close to 2 hours, but 45 minutes stovetop sounds about right.

I was going to ask about hulls and searched “cook wild rice” to be sure. Maybe start there. I found a ton of recipes
I’ve had it once. It felt like it take forever to cook. Never bought it after that.
