The one I am on does as well, so that brigading and botted downvotes by queerphobic people are less effective iirc. In practice I can’t downvote things and they also don’t get shown to me.

Several instances disable downvotes for their users. The one I am on does as well, so that brigading and botted downvotes by queerphobic people are less effective iirc.

But you can you still downvote on content from other instances? It’d be kinda strange if an instance prevented their users from downvoting elsewhere
