The move has been heavily criticised by Taoiseach Micheál Martin who described it as “excessive”.

It’s actually a good procedure for internal security. North Korea does the same and they don’t have any problems with people coming in (/s obviously)

Well… I’m not on grinder, so it might be hard to actually find them,

Though it occurs to me they’ll use AI to sort through it, so I can’t torture some poor intern with an excess of porn.

What a coincidence, that’s also the time frame I haven’t had any social media usernames

That won’t help you. If anyone arrives in the US and claims not to use social media, the customs officer may see that as very suspicious and reject entry - or worse. Been there, done that: US customs officers act on their own.

This comes to us from a distant past when people were “known on the net” as Acid Burn or Neo.

By “coincidence” I have canceled all US-based social media over the last months. And: The food in France is better :-)

Do I have to provide this information to Palantir myself, or will the authorities do that for me?

It’s like taxes, they probably already know, but they make you fill out the form so they can either catch you out if you forget one, or add it to the list if you give one they didn’t know about.
