I’m looking for places with less censorship so we can have actual discussions instead of only allowing comments that support the trans agenda.

That level of censorship does not help their cause; it actively hinders it because regular people aren’t allowed to have their own beliefs on the matter. Either they succumb to the hysteria, or they’re ousted.

I’d honestly be surprised if even asking this question didn’t result in censorship. That’s how bad things have gotten.

Edit: Plenty of personal attacks, but no legitimate answers! Did anyone come to this thread to actually answer the question?

Nobody’s gonna fall for your “actual discussion without censorship” excuse, you’re obviously looking for a place where transphobia is welcome. Try xitter or reddit.com/r/conservative and GTFO off Lemmy with that shit.

But the more important question is: why?

Why the fuck would you WANT to be in a hate echo chamber?

Why would you want to read this week’s made up story about some creep that put on a skirt to creep on the ladies bathroom, when instead you could watch a cat video, or a cool car or talk about yesterday’s sports game or a cute potted plant or whatever it is that you actually like?

You have a very limited time in this world brother, why waste it being angry at some imaginary trans boogieman that will never really affect your life in any way, instead of doing something actually meaningful, or something that makes you happy?

    No.

I just got insta permabanned from world news @ quokka au for saying that sexual orientation is based on sex not gender, is innate, and can’t be changed. You know……scientific facts. People are now claiming that being gay is a choice that you can just opt out of.

We’ve gone full circle to conversion camps and “pray the gay away” being believed to be effective. Insane.

Pointing out that LGB being defined as same sex attraction while TQ+ is based on gender identity is “ignorance and intolerance” now?

People were saying that being gay has nothing to do with sex now, only gender lol.

Let me ask you - do you think that sexual orientation is innate or do you think it’s just a preference that you can control and change at will?

Not at will, no. But the sex/gender attraction thing isn’t accurate.

People who consider themselves straight may still feel the same level of attraction toward trans people of their preferred gender. In my limited understanding, this is based on a combination of presentation, hormones and pheromones.

Sexual attraction isn’t based on gender, it’s based on sex. LGB are literally defined as same sex attraction.

A straight male is not going to be sexually attracted to a trans woman.
