  • I have an personality disorder (avoidant with paranoid and schizoid aspects).

Even if i strongly feel stuff that is not adequate to the situation (which is every single social interaction), it is still my responsibility to decide if i act on those emotions or not.

It is also my own responsibility to get help for my issues, which means that i have had weekly therapy sessions for years now, and i don’t think i will ever stop going.

I do not act on my irratonal impulses, which shows that most people with mental disorders have the choice if they wanna be an asshole or not. A person with enough stability to file 40 court cases - which would just overwhelm me, there’s no chance in hell that i would do something like that - is stable enough to start therapy and stop themselves from shit like that. Case closed.

  • I legit had the following interaction.

Me: Please close all windows you have currently opened. Costumer: Ok, one moment. leaves phone, comes back 2 minutes later. Me: It will take quite long if you are not sitting in front of your computer, can you relocate there? Costumer: I am in front of the computer, i just closed all windows just like you told me. Me: dies internally

I had another client with ADSL, asked them what modem they used: Client: “My modem is colorful and full of lights!”

seriously, tech support is funny shit if it doesn’t happen to you.

  • The issue is that you don’t have any say in what it is to be concerned about being uncovered. Regimes change, and so do the things that are dangerous to uncover. Today it might be ok showing support for LGBTIA+ rights where you live, but that might change at a votes/coups notice. Damn, supporting trans rights might get you in physical altercations in some areas in the US if you are found out, or might make it impossible to land a job.

The Nazis used data that was accumulated by prior administrations to choose their victims.

  • Walking while concentrating on what i feel in different parts of my body helps me in high stress situations, and longer walks once in a while when I’m not completely stressed out helps clear my mind. swimming in thermal water also helps keep my overall stress level down when I’ve got enough capacity left to actually do it.

so yeah, the right exercise customised to my actual capacity to do exercise helps a lot - but i have to allow myself to just stop doing it without beating myself up if I’m not up to it.
