Either the British or American national anthems, they’re both pretentious as fuck and it’d be kinda interesting to see if something like that has knock on effects down the line.

I think its based on the chest reactor?
Oh don’t worry we already have completely silent drone rotors, they’re just not manufactured on a large enough scale that Ukraine can easily get ahold of them.
Realistically you also need 35 quid to have your drivers license re-issued which you can then use as an initial form of ID to get everything else changed.
Caveat, there was massive sea level rise around that time so early civilizations may well be older than that but we humans liked to build our early settlements next to the sea so anything older than that is going to be underwater (which is not good for preservation). iirc there are a few offshore ruins of interest that suggest there may have been older civilisations or at least some pretty impressive ceremonial sites.
Between his unhealthy lifestyle and increasing cognitive decline I’m not sure he’s going to be alive in 2028.
We did get a bunch of ecologically vital riverside tree planting in Scotland recently, not for environmental reasons but to protect holiday cottages and replenish salmon populations for fishing. So at the very least we can get them to do the right thing by convincing them its for their own benefit.
Hounestly wasn’t he just doing capitalism? buy low sell high.
Dr Who has had some genuinely good episodes and plot lines, nowadays though it does mostly seem to be re-hashing its own old plot lines but in a shorter and less well executed form or just trying to cram as many current issues into an episode as possible. Its basically suffering the same fate as the simpsons.
Superman has had its good moments like the world made of cardboard scene. Nowadays I think saitama from one punch man makes for a better all powerful hero as the narrative really focuses more on the consiquences of that power on himself and the people around him rather than just having him save the day over and over.
Real life has officially passed ‘The Dictator’ in terms of absurdity.
Sure hope we don’t get temperatures like this over water for any prolonged period…
The Southern hemisphere gets more extereme seasons. Earths orbit is eliptical and the point where its closest to the sun lines up with southern hemisphere summer making it hotter (and making northern hemisphere winter milder) The same goes for winter with the earth being furthest from the sun roughly during winter in the southern hemisphere. As the earths axis proceeds this effect swaps hemispheres every now and then. (5000 years iirc?)
Honestly if your in the UK that’s basically true, we do have standards but for some reason there are different ones for appliances and structures and they also keep changing and not everyone updates their manufacturing when they do. In college we were told to just look it up because you can’t memorize them all and some of them use very similar colours but in a different order.
It will however fuck all the raw milk people.
So I’m doing this calculation as I write this comment so I’m commited regardless of the outcome.
Assuming we can get all of the solar systems material and use nuclear fusion to turn all of the gas into heavier elements (I assume anyone dismantling solar systems has workd out fusion) that results in about 9.3 x 10^14 square km of living space. about 1.83 million earths.
The total surface area of the solar system (with rough guesses for the size of the rocky cores of the gas giants is about 9.8 x 10^9 square km.
Since we can’t really detect small planets in other solar systems I’m going to assume they all have roughly the same amount of planet as our own one. So all in all we get just under 100,000 solar systems worth of living surface.
Ok so its actually about 0.1% of the milky way in terms of living space at best. But thats still pretty damn good and its all withing fairly managable lightspeed communication range of just a few minutes delay at worst. And we could get to 100x that if we could do starlifting and removed just 14% of the suns mass.
The other one is that if we were to disasemble all our planets (we can leave earth alone for sentimental reasons) and rebuild them in shells around our sun we could create as much habitable living area as the surface of every natural planet (habitable or not) in our entire galaxy. Plus the whole thing would fit inside the orbit of mercury which means very low light lag. Why build a galaxy spanning empire when you can just build a galaxy at home and have much better ping?
Massive government subsidies that allow companies to more or less run at a loss for the most part. Its the same playbook as Wallmart and just like Wallmart its a sure bet that those prices will go up once the local competition is wiped out.
Honestly that entire movie was a plothole given the origins of the xenomorphs is already established.
iirc last check it was about 50/50 people vs bots. The problem is people running bot farms or AI generated channels know exactly how to tailor content to the various algorithms used by big social media companies and thus actual human content is actively burried.
