We have the exact same saying here in Denmark. “Den enes død er den andens brød.”
But I don’t think it’s a very good saying, because it implies a zero sum game.
This has NOTHING to do with capitalism, it is because Russia is a totalitarian state.
Capitalism is not the deciding factor here. So stop trying to blame that, instead of the real reason.
Under capitalism, not just russia, if there is money to be made in death then we are all screwed.
