Honestly, it’s like he’s just trying to test where the line is at this point.

Who knows, maybe even he’s surprised by how much these supporters gobble up whatever shite he spews.

If it’s personal behavior, there is no line.

Seriously, we need to internalize this: If you support Donald Trump in 2024 at this point, there is no goddamn line. There is nothing too atrocious or puerile or insulting to his own base that he could do or say to lose them at this point. He owns them.

I used to joke that he could literally eat a baby live on stage at one of his rallies and not lose supporters, because he’d insist it was fake news even as the blood dripped down his chin.

It’s not a joke anymore. He really could do it, and far too many of his supporters would believe him over their own lying eyes.

Trump support, at this point, is a mental health crisis in this country.

I reckon if he just turned it around and became a stand up guy, helping immigrants settle peacefully, becoming a role model for the world stage from a moral standpoint, he’d lose all those supporters.

It’d be amazing to watch that character arc too.

Except he wouldn’t even deny it anymore. He’d just say “That baby tasted awful. I’ve ate much tastier babies than that. That baby was a democrat, and voted for Obama.”

And his base would cheer that the world has one less person in it who would vote for Obama in 2042. But don’t worry, abortion is still illegal, because they’re all pro-life…until you’re born.

And yes, I’M fully aware of the logical inconsistancies of that scenario. They are not. That’s the joke.
