Hiya folks,
Was watching some videos today, and I am using Newpipe on mobile, Freetube on PC and SmartTube on TV. However, I have been curios about two things.
- Does the viewership count when using these services to the videos?
- Does the “subscribe” count increase when using these services? Or is it just purely local, the subscriptions i mean.

I use newpipe and I’m pretty sure subscriptions are local, since I don’t have a Google account. I’d expect that the views “count” since newpipe uses yt’s web interface underneath.
