🙄 there are communist countries that are not Russia or China, just like there are capitalist countries that aren’t the United States.

Just because someone has a personality disorder doesn’t mean they are incapable of doing their jobs. That’s an ableist assumption.
Don’t take it as an insult, if you keep being ableist that would be grounds for insults, but I’m honestly just letting you know.
Yeah, it’s notable that computer programmers are also over-represented in this survey.
I wonder if there isn’t a lack of people brewing outside the rich white man demographic… but more that they inhabit different social worlds so they aren’t seeing each other.
Love how this one is upvoted 😭 like they’re saying “yeah 😀”
Enjoying reading books, coffee, and romantic comedies are all factors that would influence statistics that you are just … ignoring?
How much does it cost?
Why was this downvoted it’s like common knowledge
When I was a kid, I was a girl and me and my best friend (also a girl) went to Dungeons and Dragons games hosted by a DM at a local gaming shop. We were in middle school, the other players and the DMs were all adults.
There was a guy who would regularly teasingly poke my friend in a way that was clearly inappropriate and uncomfortable. Nobody stopped him. We did go for a few more sessions but eventually stopped attending. We stayed in the hobby, but it’s not a mystery why people would leave.
Not to mention the underlying currents of racism in a lot of games.
I know D&D and homebrew aren’t the same thing, but D&D is the intro for a lot of people so it’s very relevant.
Edit: ahh okay different homebrew.
No worries! We can always join the US military! 😀
You’re telling on yourself here … you think wealth is associated with success. I think success is when a society has taken care of everyone. You think I am just critical because I am jealous? I don’t want your lifestyle, I want for everyone to have what they need and not live in excess like you do. I am critical because you downplay your privilege and then look down on others. Conservative, bootstraps way of thinking. You are benefiting from a system that requires impoverishment of other people, and you aren’t even willing to name your place in that system.
If your lifestyle is as you claim, then driving a broken down Ford sounds like a choice whereas for others, it would not be. If I were seriously concerned about my broken down car, I would not pick up thousand dollar tabs. And earlier you tried to gloat about having a couple of nice cars, going on vacation, living in a big house? One moment you’re bragging about your wealth, the next you are downplaying it. Dumbass. You are avoiding critical thinking because you know it makes you look bad.
You are literally amongst the wealthiest people and are trying to create your own categories. Not working on me, and you barely seem like you’re convincing yourself.
You should still recognize that you are in the top 2%, and are wealthy. Poorer people look at what other people are spending money on because it’s unfair that so many people can’t afford the basics. You have to look around to understand the situation. You sound like you don’t other people looking at you… trying to downplay your weath as “well-to-do” or “upper middle class”, which we all know are euphemisms. It’s ridiculous that you would think of yourself as not wealthy, but also not think twice about a $1000 tab.
🫰🏻🫰🏻Yes! We don’t need to all eat the same things everywhere. I don’t need avocados shipped in from Chile. Local foods is a great way to increase efficiency as well, there is less loss from transportation. But it does mean that you can’t eat the same things everywhere you go. If we want to live in a sustainable way, there are big policy changes that need to happen, but those policy changes would lead to changes in our everyday lifestyle. The party’s over, we see the results happening right before our eyes and being able to eat the same McDonald’s cheeseburger in every country is not worth the cost of mass extinction.
It will harm any insect the same size as the target ones. Insects have so so many ecological benefits, as pollinators, as part of the food chain, as unique and amazing creatures in and of themselves, they may contain chemicals and biological systems we don’t yet understand but that future generations will benefit from the knowledge of. We need to protect our biodiversity.
Ecologist here … you’re absolutely right. We can have less efficient agriculture that doesn’t require indiscriminate killing of species.
Not surprised you got downvoted here, the literal grass-touching prevalence on this site is extremely low.
The mods here suck donkey balls
Why was this taken down? It was actually useful. He said “read the fucking article I’m not talking about onlyfans”. This is extremely over moderated. Just get rid of the Nazis and let us have swears.
