8·8 months agoThis is the right answer. It’s worth noting I traveled domestically and internationally quite a bit lately and I carry prescribed and controlled meds loose in a container. I carry maybe 6 pills total and no one has ever cared or asked about them.

I think the hardship and struggles further enforce the “us vs the world” mindset and I suspect only makes them dig in harder.
I think they get in with the wrong crowd online and then it starts to turn into a “them vs the world” type thing. When you and your buddies are the only holders of truth and the entire world is crooked, I suspect that’s a powerful motivator to continue to believe this shit.
It’s a really bad solution honestly. Benzo withdrawal can kill you and it’s extremely habit forming. Especially if you’re using it to treat insomnia, finding a way to stop taking it is gonna be tough.
No solution provided, just giving some caution and saying that using Xanax to sleep is roughly equivalent to getting drunk to sleep. Both affect your GABA receptors and both are habit forming and dangerous to withdrawal from.

6·1 year agoYou’re out of luck for Apple TV, but not for iOS. I uninstalled YouTube from my phone and use Orion browser as my default now. It lets you install extensions from the Firefox or Chrome store, so I have ublock origin installed on my phone now and YouTube ads are gone.
It was a neutral impact.
I made the comment because I don’t understand your motivation here. You’re making contrary statements while asking for a solution. I came to offer one, but decided not to because it’s ad blocker centric.
Hate ads but don’t want an ad blocker? Sounds tough.
