In many cases, you have to disable the privacy setting (hops) to be able to download anything. Probably because it still hasn’t attracted a lot of users.
They switched from a client application to a web interface in a recent update, which I’m not a fan of (mainly because I’m blocking right click hijacking in my browser).
It’s nice to add an extra layer of security, imo, but I wouldn’t rely on it completely if you’re in one of those countries where ISPs don’t respect your privacy.
I prefer one L in traveling. There’s an unstressed shwa sound and it makes no sense to double the consonant after. It almost implies the stress falls on the vell part.
I don’t know how common it is, but when I grew up, being smart was basically an insult. Not being posh, but any sign of smartness. I was already a quiet kid, which made me a target (because quiet people are smart? My grades surely disagreed), using “difficult” vocabulary is definitely something you had to avoid; kids better not find out you have “smart” interests like computers or reading or something or you’d be ridiculed.
Maybe people carry their hate with them in adulthood but just don’t show it so much (until it’s time to vote 🙂)
I keep recommending Tribler and I don’t know why it’s not more popular. Anything wrong with it?
On winecfg you can try the checks on the Graphics tab, it shouldn’t break anything. Also, try to change the Windows version. Sometimes either XP or 7 work better. You’re right about it being c++, not sure which one I installed, maybe this one: https://github.com/abbodi1406/vcredist
Install the full Visual Studio runtime and try some different settings with winecfg. People recommend Lutris but for me it never made a difference
I’ve never heard about Peter judging or the gates etc. in all my religious upbringing and didn’t realize this was an actual belief.
I just knew this pearly gates thing as a movie cliché, from Tom and Jerry to modern shows copying that idea.
Does Lutris require some special setup?
Using fitgirl repacks are a bit hit and miss for me. But if they don’t work, Lutris doesn’t help.
I remember always switching to another channel when ads came up, but later that became impossible because they all started ads at the same time. So it seems to be on purpose to prevent people from switching channels. This was in the Netherlands, though I haven’t listened to radio anymore since Napster came out.
My yearly dental works always cost a fortune, but my teeth are great now, since:
I haven’t used it in a while but Aeroinsta was good and probably safe (despite their shady website). Gets rid of unnecessary stuff like ads and allows downloading.
If you’re not a wage slave and have a bigger home, think of all the hobbies and interests you can pursue, new things to learn, time to meet people and space to host them, charity work… And you have the energy for things that a job would drain from you otherwise. I think life would be drastically different.
It shouldn’t be needed but if you want extra privacy, you can try torsocks.
I don’t include the rider. More confusing are stairs and crosswalks: where do they start and end? Often, there is no crosswalk on the picture but you have to select other road markings to continue. So it doesn’t really matter.
Everyone just copied everything from each other. Floppy, then Twilight CDs. Then came the internet and exploring music there was better than sitting around waiting for a song to come on the radio to quickly press record. It was normal when I was young to share, not really an active choice.
Depends on the country. I once got some people in trouble when I passed through Germany because I didn’t know internet is heavily censored/surveilled there. Haven’t had trouble anywhere else though. Do some research on your country.
The biggest threats come from the movie industry. Just use streaming sites for movies and series, torrent the other stuff.
Look into Tribler, I2P and Utopia.
Out of the ones I’ve tried (Jerboa, Connect, Thunder), I think Thunder is best (after a little config) : https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder/releases
On streaming sites (Fmoviesz), some mirrors have a download button. You can also use the Video Downloadhelper plugin for Firefox.
Try Phuket or Mallorca.
