Is it still lasagna if you use Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce because it’s delicious, whatever it’s called.
I mean technically Lasagna is just the type of pasta. So Lasagna with Alfredo sauce is still Lasagna as much as Spaghetti with Alfredo sauce is still Spaghetti.
I would say so, my understanding is that lasagna is just a dish made from layering wide flat noodles, sauce, and other fillings.
My mom makes a white lasagna with ground chicken, spinach, Alfredo sauce, and cheese. It’s amazing! I prefer it to a traditional lasagna, but I’m biased since I’m not a huge fan of tomatoes.
Considering the popularity of the tuna casserole, a tuna lasagna could be good if that’s your taste. It doesn’t sound appealing to me personally, but don’t let that discourage you.
No!
@useyourmainfinger Have you tasted them?
I quite like it.
If you like tuna casserole, it is basically the same thing with different noodles. I would add an extra can of tuna. Sample recipe: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/cheesy-tuna-lasagna/#RecipeCard
Yes.
There is no accounting for taste.
As an overweight orange cat, yes
It’s alright. I was always bummed when my mom made it, just because I love regular lasagna so much more.
Personally I don’t think tuna and tomato / ricotta would pair well but it’s not repulsive.
In my mind I have now, unfortunately…
I don’t know and I don’t want to find out.
