Vladimir Sviridov is the latest in a series of critics to have died under unclear circumstances.

The direct cause isn’t determined but they didn’t die violently or due to poison apparently.

And I know what they mean to say this, via the following:

Sviridov is the latest in a series of critics of the Russian establishment found inexplicably dead

But I think we can probably explain why they are dead: Putie really doesn’t like critics.

Lieutenant General Vladimir Sviridov, 68, and his wife Tatyana, 72, were found dead on Wednesday in their bedroom, said the Kyiv Post. They looked to have been dead for about a week before their discovery, according to the newspaper.

They must have been super duper critical if no one noticed his disappearance for a week.

  • Rule 7: We didn’t USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you’re posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
