minus-squareowenfromcanada@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month agoMy preferred version: Two sausages are sitting in a frying pan. One looks over to the other and says, “Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here?” The other sausage looks back and says, “AHHH! IT’S A TALKING SAUSAGE!”
minus-squaredarkdemize@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month agoYep. Seems like they forgot the last part of the punchline.
minus-squarelemmydripzdotz456@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month agoGiven the lack of punctuation at the end of the sentence compared to proper punctuation on the other lines, I would expect that one of these is true: The end of the punchline was never printed. The end of the punchline appears elsewhere and cannot be seen because of how it is being held. The image has been edited for comedic effect (successfully, in my opinion).
minus-squareTachyonTele@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month ago It’s a different punchline, and the joke is complete.

minus-squarekamenLady.@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month agoDoesn’t seem to be edited, i found another photo of this product.
minus-squareRhaedas@fedia.iolinkfedilinkarrow-up0·1 month agoThat’s funny for the irony, but OP’s is morbid or dark humor. Both are great.
minus-squaretakeda@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month agoIt looks like this is the same joke and the picture is just not showing the punchline.
minus-squareRhaedas@fedia.iolinkfedilinkarrow-up0·1 month agoCredit for the edit quality then. I think it’s funny as shown, although I agree having a period there would have made it perfect.
