This is going to make one hell of a made for TV movie.

The lesson here is if you’re in a financial dispute with somebody don’t eat or drink any of their food?

I am confused about one thing, this was a murder suicide, the suspect also poisoned themselves. At that point this is just revenge?

But revenge for what? Maybe they blamed their victims for taking them to court to try to recover the money? Or they thought they’re only option was suicide, because of the court case, so they wanted revenge. It’s really twisted.

This is a Thai hotel, and they do like ghost stories, I could see a comedy movie coming out where the dead Vietnamese investors become a slapstick chorus of Ghost investment advisors for young and upstart hotelier from Korea who falls in love with a woman who hasn’t decided if she’s going to stay in the country and follow her dreams, or go overseas and pursue a career.

The chorus will make a big deal about never accepting drinks from anybody, and whenever she takes a sip of a drink in public or with her almost boyfriend they groan and yell. A running gag

I think normally it’s still safe. Most people find other ways to deal with disputes.

Plus, I don’t know about Vietnam, but in a lot of Asian countries, you offer people tea if they come to you for anything. Maybe that generally doesn’t apply to a hotel though, just homes?
