This is basically an average LinkedIn post from any manager
A lot of people are focusing on what Russia would do but this would also alarm every single country that isn’t in good terms with NATO and they would also start mobilizing their armies. China, NK, and maybe even the middle east would retaliate if nato was this aggressive.
I love the front-ends as well but it feels like every Lemmy update breaks something there. Alexandrite still hasn’t updated to 0.19.5 (since most instances are still on 0.19.3 due to image caching issues), and upvotes/downvotes still don’t show up in my instance.
I’ve literally been downvoting nothing but random political posts outside of politics communities and still they somehow worm into the hot feed. Mods should take a more serious “no politics spam” rule.
Obviously this depends on where you live and what job you want, but I learned that getting a job is less about “having skills” and more about marketing yourself. Optimizing your CV. Bragging about your work on LinkedIn. Writing a cover letter with the key words they’re looking for.
It’s all very stupid, but it matters a lot to companies.
It went on for roughly 3 days. Canvas happened last year this time and it’ll happen again next year, so keep a look out.
Sorry mate. It just ended today. I’m surprised you haven’t heard of it considering it was all over the platform, but you can see the end result at [email protected]
It’s Megumin from an anime called Konosuba
My Neighbour Totoro over Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle though?
This is literally a civilization trade offer
“I offer: 2 meat. You give me: space-age technology I don’t know yet.”
If weapons are allowed, we would win by a landslide. If no weapons are allowed, even then I would think the animals would just start killing each other before they even get to us.
It’s honestly kind of amazing that it lasted so long in the first place
Dunno, but Llama 3 is the best open source model and Claude 3 is the best overall model they offer.
Can confirm, my friend worked as a cook for 2 different places (not fast food, local restaurants) for a while because he needed money in college. He told me it’s the most stressful job he’s experienced and the pay wasn’t worth the effort. Nobody in the kitchen wanted to be there, in prime hours there are so many orders that they can’t help but rush everything while shouting to each other.
I can imagine how tedious that job is, having to make the same food for months except you’re always time pressured and told to do it faster. Working as a waiter or cashier is way simpler and I imagine the pay difference isn’t massive.
You might have been confused with Cheems, which died last year
She looked great for her age too, her owner really took care of kabosu.
Don’t use [email protected], the entire instance closed down and that community’s been abandoned.
Because you very rarely need to actually log in on your laptop. You lock and open your phone dozens of times per day, but you’ll probably log in once or twice on your laptop and that’s it. It’s not a feature many people would care about.
You know those timelapse youtube videos where you watch ants eating a small fruit within a couple of days? Imagine that, but with it happening a lot faster with so many ants covering lions that you wouldn’t be able to see them.
