I still remember the pneumonic for “pool” in Spanish that a high school classmate came up with: La Piscina — Piss in a pool.
Or badly designed ones with a combo of yield and stop signs that effectively prevent the people with the stop sign from ever proceeding
My mom taught me to never trust a turn signal (or lack of one)

Which number is “there are no girls on the internet?”
I see where you’re coming from. I think as the fediverse grows it will naturally start to specialize more like you describe reddit having done in the past.
In this case the community is “funny” so posting funny lines from comedians seems pretty on topic to me, am I missing something?
I bought the Runtastic six pack abs trainer and butt trainer (one time $5 fee for each app) several years ago and have gone through each program a number of times with excellent results. Especially considering the workouts were only about 10-15 minutes each (so 30 minutes to do one of each). These apps have been discontinued for new downloads but I bet you could fine similar apps for free or cheap that don’t require subscriptions.
I wish we would use this phenomenon to build a more empathetic society with incentives that encourage people do do things that are mutually beneficial
The Wheaton College swim team did something similar in the 80’s— built a VW beatle inside of the coach’s office
Yeah I use it to keep up with friends/family and have a private account— most people I know don’t post regular posts, only stories, so it’s actually quite easy for me to exhaust all the content I care about and then leave. The post feed is mostly ads for me since my friends don’t post. The ‘explore’ feed for me is mostly indian weddings and flood content for some unfathomable reason.
This does appear to be a functional workaround atm (the mobile website via safari app allows me to post photos to stories) but the editor is severely gimped so you can’t resize images and such. Desktop version doesn’t seem to allow you to post stories at all. If I NEED to share something perhaps I’ll use this.
The ones for little girls had puppies with the flag. Always retrievers.
I ran into a litter of wild turkey chicks a few months ago and it was such a contrast to how little ducklings group together and line up to follow mom. The turkey chicks scatter every which way instead.
