I know by personal experience that sometimes my low population density area in the south gets a lower quality of vegetables than the state capitol. I was looking for something to cook. I won’t say what only that the all the items at our local walmart were very small and bruised. This went on for two weeks. I drive to the state capitol and while I’m there go to walmart and they have what I need and they are the right size and of a higher quality.
Next day at our local walmart I look just to make sure and what they have there is just garbage. I have no doubt its the same for many situations.

I’m in my 50’s. Both my parents passed this year. I didn’t go to either funeral. I felt nothing but anger at them. I did finally start going to therapy. My parents were different in their abuse but the same in that they never once in my life apologizes for any wrong they committed. It was physical abuse until I became physically stronger. Then it was nothing but mental abuse for the rest of my life. Admitting it hurts and admitting that its the source of your anger is good for you.

My parents like many didn’t “believe” in therapy. For good reason as it turns out. They knew they are guilty of abuse and feared exposure. Give it at least a couple of tries. If you don’t like the therapist you see. See another one. Be prepared to hear things you will not like. Acknowledge your pain is driving negative emotions and keep trying to not let it rule you.

Go away dude. I get that you have hived down the subject to the point of obsession but I’ve got websites that have been up for decades and if they go on a blocklist it will be for another reason. Not because of two barely used DNS records. Further if they become required then I’m sure they will be supported.

I’ll worry about it when it happens until then its obscure and of no importance.

You don’t think you can run your own DNS? Currently I’m using local bind server at work to filter using commercial blocklists. It forwards all windows domain queries to the local AD servers DNS ensuring all internal windows related domains function normally. The external DNS queries though goes through bind and doesn’t care about anything except the root servers. I have firewall rules in place that prevent anyone from using any other DNS. Even DNS over TLS traffic is diverted to my DNS or blocked. It doesn’t rely on anything or any other organization other than the root servers.

In the twenty something years I’ve used afraid.org for personal use I’ve had very little down time. I’ve tried other services many, many times and other than something like cloudflare there is no point in switching. If you don’t want to use it, don’t. It works just fine and you can’t match the price anywhere else. To give you a sense of how many years I’ve been doing my own DNS I set my first DNS server for a dial up ISP in 95.

Finally, what record types are you referring to not being supported?

I own a lot of domains. Why would I want to run my own DNS when I can use a simple uncomplicated system that is time proven and reliable. They could of course set it up with a fisher price interface for thumb suckers who need flash. What feature do you need beyond standard records and a simple dynamic feature? The price isn’t that bad either.

I use afraid.org to keep my dynamic dns pointed at my routers ip. With afraid.org dns you only need a curl statement scheduled on the opendnswrt router to keep the dynamic ip updated.

One consistent thing about sovcit garbage is their ability to leave out relevant things when talking about how much a victim they are. I’m sure there is more to their actions than what is described that lead the hospital staff to alert CPS.

Edit: My personal experience with a NICU makes this response no surprise at all. My son was premature and while we were there the father of a teenage girl who had a baby there came in to the NICU and started getting loud about unplugging the baby. He was quickly escorted out by Hospital security and arrested. They take no chances in that kind of environment.
