People have already correctly answered that in this community there are no stupid questions, you’re supposed to be able to ask anything without ridicule. But if you want to permit the general existence of stupid questions, here’s the definition I’ve always used.
A stupid question is one you can easily answer yourself.
As in, any question due to real lack of knowledge is not stupid, but if you can answer your own question just by thinking about it for a second, then it wasn’t necessary to ask and therefore "stupid”.
The USA first needs a serious left wing party for that to be possible.
I don’t agree with now being the time, given who that would be. But I do think it would be good to elect a convicted felon to the white house at some point.
I’ve heard many people say the opposite of this.
(My own team is olive hater)
I was about to question the “zionist left” part and decided to do a quick search. Apparently it’s real, one of the largest parties in Israel is the “Labor Zionist” party which actually holds certain leftist values like proletarian* ownership of the means of production. Bibi is a right wing liberal all the way and his party reflects that, just to be clear. But it shows how any movement can be devastating and harmful when it adopts a mentality of exclusion. In the case of the LZ party, it’s the *Jewish proletariat that they want to build socialism for, while keeping an underclass of gentiles. So once again racism and hierarchies are here to ruin your movement.
Just proof of the necessity of that little /s
Oh and what dangers are civilians in Gaza facing?
Edit: this was indeed a sarcastic comment. The correct answer to my “question” is the IDF and American weapons. The point was Biden is willing to admit they’d be in danger over there but is not willing to state the nature of that danger.
No matter what you get you have to get hot sauce, and definitely not mild.
This has always been my go to. Cheap easy and tasty.
When going to a KFC combo, it’s also fun to get some fried chicken to add into the taco.
I just got it after a minute, General Tso’s Chicken
Hotter than it was last year, and the year before that, and…
When I say “libs” I don’t mean 1 party, just any party that express liberal values. Which, based on the Wikipedia page, would include PvdA and everyone to VVD. Bernie and AOC are also libs.
From what I see, the center left politicians in Europe are still liberals supporting capitalism. More of a social democracy which is for sure better than the individualistic libertarian ideas being promoted in the states, but capitalist none the less. Still not fully addressing the ethics of the population as a whole.
Also, I do realize that America isn’t the center of the world, but it definitely has serious impact on what the people of the world see as the trajectory of the future. Especially if (and this is pure speculation) if the right is able to create fox style echo chambers in other countries using the narrative of following the American superpower.
The right has a cohesive strategy for getting and keeping an animated base, while the libs are focusing on maintaining a status quo that people hate and are creating voter apathy.
I was expecting this to be a story of an issue, but this is actually really encouraging for what single payer could look like. The time scale isn’t great, but it’s pretty comparable to what I’ve experienced and heard about from friends here in the “efficient” private US system.
