There’s a sci-fi movie from USSR, “Kin-dza-dza”. The natives of another planet in another galaxy were telepathes, but used language consisting of only a few words. “Koo” was for almost any word, “kiu” for swearing, “ketse” for matches (most valuable asset) and a few more. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kin-dza-dza!
Hereditary (2018). Although it has some unpleasant moments, the story and actors play are so good. While the ending is okay (nothing surprising for the bar set by the movie), the tension throughout the story is well worth the watch. It is in my top list of horror/thriller movies of all time.

Healthy person most commonly sees images based on the light their eyes receive, but based on the quality of information you may interpret it wrongly. Especially light captured by side sight – here brain draws a big part of picture itself.
People with schozophrenia can see and hear non-existing people like we see real people. It can take them a lot of reasoning to verify if person they are seeing in fact real.
That is logical. Practically, though, this is used for justification of selected events. If a person confronts with something he doesn’t like, e. g. bugs in his home, he will actively try to change it.
