EEAAO is truly a masterpiece and I do not say that shit lightly. For all it’s multiverse goofiness there really is a solid layer depicting the struggle of women, mother, and girls becoming women. There’s also cultural bits obviously as well, and marriage. My god the dad breaks my heart every time. Just good from beginning to end.

Robin Williams. I grew up knowing his more kid-friendly side as the voice of Genie and Batty Koda, his role in Jumanji, etc. Then growing up saw him in films like What Dreams May Come, Patch Adams, Mrs. Doubtfire. When I heard the news he not only died, but by suicide because the man suffered from a severe mental illness it really cut me to the core. It was like losing a favorite silly uncle. I still haven’t been able to bring myself to watch any of his movies as I fear it will make me emotionally unstable again. Every year since it seems like I find out more about how much of an amazing character he was, and I’m glad he left a legacy, but god damn does it suck.

It’s ‘the newest hot’ aka the thing most people know is a good thing, but know nothing beyond the basics. Sets up for people to easily rip you off, install sub-par products, perform shitty installation, overcharge with shitty interest rate loans, etc.

Dude this is insane. First I feel like you’d be more prone to falling over or something? Like top heavy?? But on the other hand you can probably go up most stairs without feeling like you’re about to fall to your death. I have average foot size for my height and all stairs I have to be on my tip toes. Honestly have wished I had smaller feet many times in my life. Thanks for sharing! Not something I ever thought was a thing.

I got hired by a small start up a couple years back and was basically responsible for an entire platform from top to bottom. High stress? Oh you bet your ass! But god damn having full control and building out huge solutions that customers were using and giving exuberant feedback on were highs I have yet to achieve in other settings. I suffer from imposter syndrome constantly and being in that space helped reassure me I did in fact know what I was doing and was actually pretty damn good at it. The startup failed, which of course sucked, but in the end it was for the better.

The ‘Plex suggestions’, the constant return of rental prices when doing a search instead of just my media library. I had to remove a bunch of menu items they automatically added without my cosent during their last major update which seems to be when it all started. The search bit is especially angering because it’s lagging load times as it’s searching these online sources for rentals I don’t want instead of just pulling up the returns on my local media server. If there’s a setting disabling it I must have missed it because when they introduced the garbage I immediately scoured the settings to try and turn it off. Those are the main two off the top of my head.

Honestly ever since Plex started going the enshittification route and hocking their fucking bullshit instead of just being a home server it’s been irritating the shit out of me. The only thing they aren’t doing at this point is adverts live vids.

It’s a joke from a final interview that TWKYK did about Trevor’s death. It was discussed when he was alive that if he died they were required to make up the most hilarious dirty jokes about how he actually died. They respected his wishes, the Internet has carried the torch since then.
