How can you do Zangendeutsch/Denglisch like that?
Not an American, but wasn’t the school duty kind of a big deal?
Kaliningrad is not called Königsberg anymore. There was a war over this.
On the long run, I think it should be annexed by the EU.
This is imperialism. IMO, the people of the Oblast Kaliningrad should be able to decide for themselves since the Russian Federation is de jure a federation. Once independent, Kaliningrad would be able to go through EU’s process of entry into the union.
I don’t see this happening anytime soon, because Russia is de facto neither a federation nor a democracy and I assume the people of Kaliningrad do not have the political will to be independent or part of the EU at the moment.
I’m saying this for years, but a) it’s quite late (seems like a 1990s issue) and b) OpenNIC is a bit of a joke atm (but support it anyways)
ICANN never should’ve been a creature of US-NTIA, but of the UN. The US has no right to decide for the digital world how everyone communiticates. No one really should (apart from about stuff like CSAM).

NewPipe for example can download video or audio from YT, has fine-tuned speed and pitch control (like 137% speed and 83% pitch or something ridiculous like that), plays audio in background and subscribes to various sources (Soundcloud, Bandcamp, YouTube (a bit of Peertube)) in one feed without an account.

Fossil fuel enabling capital is almost never peanuts, but yeah, some hundred million is not gonna change a lot.
Western fossil capital sheds a tear, Russian regime laughs in double standard and nothing happened. The Russian invasion continues, cheap fossil fuels get distributed, capital concentrates.
Army Radio said evacuations were focused on a few peripheral districts of Rafah, from which evacuees would be directed to tent cities in nearby Khan Younis and Al Muwassi.
For those asking whereto.
This looks like a warrior president future timeline.
Also what kind of precedent is this: “If we ever were in a war of aggression, we don’t want our assets to be seized (even for the resulting damage).”
Name proposals: War of Agression Tax, Imperialism Tax, WAR (Withhold Agressors Reparation) Tax
Eastern Europe cannot rely on methane as a fuel for decades to come, they’re acting like climate change isn’t happening.
Sure, this tax might need to be scrapped, but methane is not the supposed solution countries like Hungary, Slovakia and Austria think it is. If Eastern European countries truly cannot afford legitimate methane uses (e.g. heating for low to middle income home owners until replacement) from non-Russian sources, then the EU needs to do something, but I doubt that that is wanted.
