I would like to know how far is “several hollers to the east” from the tv show Appalachian Outlaws (2014).
Well, a holler is a shout across a field or similar distance, so “next door”. Hence a few hollers is right down the road, a few fields away.
how is “not too far” more than “a couple miles”
Cars are fast
anything you need a car for is too far
“Not too far” feels like a polite little lie for a >2mi thing, especially if the thing is at a populated area and encounter traffic.
