I’ve been trying to move back to reddit but their automated systems have gotten really bad recently it seems, made a new account on there and tried to post for the first time, immediately got auto suspended by “reddit’s filters” it said on the post. Didn’t violate any rules or anything, posted in a PC subreddit asking about hardware recommendations, no idea how that warrants an immediate suspension…
No messages or anything came with it otherwise, found out later on in the day that that happened, tried to go to the support page and appeal the suspension, days and weeks later nothing, no idea what to do. Tried again and still nothing right now.
Anyway to resolve this? If not then where else should I go and consider for general forums and stuff? Anything active and populated? And if at all possible something non toxic and decent on privacy for the sake of my mental health. Not super tech savvy or anything (but am somewhat privacy conscious) so please bear with me for not knowing what else is out there.
Lemmy is unfortunately not the best place for me and still too small to find what I need, I’ve also not had the best luck on here with many unhelpful and toxic encounters with the users (some even targeted me and tried to false report me just because I did something they didn’t like personally…), far more then any other platform I’ve been on, I’ve tried to make due with it but it’s just not working out for me on several fronts, it’s just not for me, I don’t feel welcomed here at all.
