Or some kind of mythical creature, I don’t really know the context of which culture it’s from or whatever. But even in pre history there were extensive trade networks that would’ve spread stories or even pictures of animals from thousands of kilometres away. Either way, there are multiple possible explanations that don’t require us to just throw away anything about our current understanding of (pre -)history.

Nothing depicted at Göbekli Tepe, or Karahan Tepe is fictional in nature. There don’t seem to be any mythical beasts, and very few depictions of people have been found so far. I’m not sure about Göbekli Tepe, but Karahan Tepe has only been about 5% - 6% excavated thus far.
