I know what the Creative Commons is but not this new thing or why it keeps popping up in comments on Lemmy

People already struggle to understand copyright. Adding more confusion is doing everyone reading your license a disservice. It’s a sentence that’s a layman’s description of my intention for including it. That’s not a different name. It’s a sentence that’s a layman’s description of my intention for including it.
