If they did the same for their constituents I don’t think anyone would have a problem with this. They bring up a valid point of needing to maintain two residences, and one is certainly in an expensive area.
The infighting and inability to do much for the people they represent really do bring their value into question.

Exactly, why would anyone want to give more money to those who repeatedly work to deny it from the people they are supposed to represent?
