There are many more but that came to mind first.
EDIT: added song title.

I think they are clamping down and trying to force people to watch yt in Google’s desired way. They have managed to stop most Piped instances via ip banning and also requesting users to “sign in to confirm you are not a robot”. I wish their was a proper alternative at this point. It would be great if something like Peertube took off.
Red.
I’m guessing you meant “What’s the goriest two movies you’ve watched?”.
Haven’t seen many gory films or films in general but definitely Terrifier 2.
EDIT: that’s the only one with enough gore to warrant being here.
Not really sure what this will achieve in the long run. Sure, some mods will up their game after being shamed… but would this not just encourage toxic behaviour? People may start shaming mods just because they may slightly disagree with them as opposed to because they are bad mods. Instead of a few bad eggs, we may end up with a chaotic community of people blasting and publicly shaming anyone with differing opinions. Is this the best way to go about this? Obviously I may be exaggerating slightly, but this is just to get across a point to consider. I know you have touched on this issue already, but another thing to consider is the potential bias of mods of this community as well. This is an interesting idea and I would also like to hear other people’s opinions on the matter.
This is a really good point. I wish I had the money to buy physical media, to support the artists I like. However, I listen to way too many songs and albums. Not only this but I enjoy shuffling music from different albums. I always use shuffle unless listening to new music.
It is interesting how the brain works, I am the same.
Well said.
Haha, this is the same for me. I’ll listen to a band’s debut, and the rest doesn’t always live up to it. Then I have to force myself to listen to the rest just in case I like any more, even sometimes to check them off my list.
Thanks for reminder, done.
I envy you, and hell yeah, Judas Priest!
I am like that when listening to music I haven’t heard before, I listen to the album in its entirety, and the releases in chronological order. After that, they get dumped in a spotify playlist based on genre and played on shuffle. Some of my playlists get huge.
See episode “Metalhead”.
I don’t know, personally I’ve never liked the idea behind that app. It seems like a massive privacy risk. I know if it is open source there is less of a risk, but I still don’t like the idea of people being encouraged to constantly post themselves and their surroundings.
Damn, I really relate to this. When I get nervous because I don’t know what to say, I come back with one of my dreaded default responses.
Seems pretty realistic to me.
I use piped/libretube, not an alternative but a different frontend, content is scraped from yt, so google cannot track you. The downside is that some instances can be unreliable and you can’t like or comment. Subscriptions work but I don’t think they contribute to a channel’s sub count.
Go-go-gadget…
