Exodus is too damn consistent. Most other thrash bands have one or two great albums and spend the rest of their career trying to live up to their hit album(s) - usually unsuccessfully. There are obviously a fair few exceptions, but the majority of bands I discover suffer from this in one way or another.

Be the change you want to see. Post more often etc. Content isn’t farmed the way it was on Reddit. There are no ads and no corporation pushing content. Sad truth is there aren’t many people on Lemmy, and it is going to take a while to gain any major growth in userbase, if at all. All we can do is be resilient and try to create meaningful content, and hope people gradually start joining, to the point where niche communities start being filled.

I’d say anyone under 30 is “young”.

Right-on spankmonkey! Great way of explaining it. I’m gonna be a dick, though, and take things a step further. I don’t see the need for asexual either. Surely that means you have a low sex drive, and prefer to judge people based on personality. What do you think?

The way I see it, does it really matter what the correct term is? I don’t see why terms are necessary. People have there preferences/place on the spectrum, like you mentioned. No offense intended to anyone here, but I think the term “pan” is sorta pointless. At the end of the day it sounds like you are bi, and your preference leans towards dudes/away from women.

Safety, easier to switch things off without unplugging them. Why not have one if it’s more convenient? Not all of them have switches though.

Can wiggle both ears individually or together.

I can cause my vision to go blurry on purpose - no idea if other people can?

I can hear some electronic devices that are plugged in, can also hear when certain portable devices have finished charging, so basically I have pretty good hearing.

I can pop my arms out of my shoulder joints, without using my hands, and back in again. Completely painless, but can sometimes do it by accident if I’m leaning against a doorframe etc, or pushing/pulling against something, so I have to be careful.

I can turn my face red by tensing my jaw.

I can turn my eyelids inside out.

I can forcibly go cross-eyed.

The back top of my skull is completely flat. If I shaved my hair off it would look like a chunk is missing haha. This also means there are dents in the middle top either side of my skull as well, almost like it has creased inwards. Was layed on my back too much as a child.

I have a seemingly hidden source of strength, I am very slim and not particularly muscular, but am stronger than some friends who are bigger and more muscular than me. I also find it difficult to add any visible muscle mass. Maybe I have dense muscle?

Personally I would wait till the wheels fall off. Consider it like this: if your existing headphones work fine, would you pay the price of the new headphones purely to not have to use the cable again. To me that seems like a waste of money, but it is your money and who I am I to tell you how to spend it? If you were thinking of upgrading them anyway, regardless of the cable situation, then I would maybe consider it. It seems a lot of money when you can just unplug the micro usb and swap the cable to usb c, which takes maybe 5 seconds? Only if you are charging on the go, with other usb c devices then maybe it makes sense.
