Adding on to this; I’d be very surprised if there was a locality within the U.S. that didn’t require every building to have carbon monoxide detectors, but again, voting doesn’t even have to occur within a building.

Voting in the U.S. is run by the individual states, and each one sets their own rules and policies.

I wholeheartedly agree with the other posters that the truck driver was driving too fast for that road and the load they were carrying.

They would exist outside of our universe (since they created the universe), so the rules of physics in our universe don’t apply to them.
Even if the reality they existed in had something equivalent to atoms, it would be inaccurate to call those “atoms” since they are in different realities.
