My guess is that your issue is from torrentio, I don’t use it but heard a lot recently about instability. You could try comet instead of others.

You already had some good advices but something I haven’t seen mentioned. If you use Kodi (and probably a couple others media player), you could use some sub plugin like open subtitle (forgot other names) to fetch subtitles on the fly when you will play video. It can be hit or miss at first, but subtitles name are like release name (title, quality, release group). So if you often encounter a release group that do your sub language. Try to download video from same release group, so you will have better chance that audio/sub sync properly.
This apart, +1 for private tracker as already mentioned, you may need some searching to find one but worth it.

+1 those are really great. And should be just below 150

That won’t work since you ripped it, but you will be able to upload that later.

Something else worth mentioning, if you have some release at home which already are on tracker, you can seed them too. Just make sure it is identical release, load torrent file from tracker and point directory to where your file is. On a different matter, make sure your client is well setup, that means to ensure you have a port rule on router leading to your pc IP and use same port on your torrent client. And if you use a VPN, prefer to setup your torrent client to use VPN connection rather than using a kill switch on VPN client.

Also transmission which is also open source

For some reason, trakt si giving a 24h token… I just found this https://github.com/redd-ravenn/stremio-trakt-addon (but haven’t tried it yet) It has an automatic token refresh so in theory that should work.
Does it have access to boot menu? If so, change boot order so it goes to usb first. You will then only need to create a bootable usb stick with Linux on it

I’m using home assistant, with mqtt which acts for many things and I get notification in different way depending the needs. Could be home assistant app or telegram or lighting up some light or sending voice messages to a speaker. All notifications are triggered by automations looking at states. Haven’t done it but automation could be re launched automatically until (for exemple) I press a button or responding to telegram message

We also have the right to copy media we bought here. Nonetheless, you need to prove that you have bought media you have downloaded.
Edit: Sharing copyright media is strictly forbidden here, so even if you prove that you buy media, you are not allowed to torrent it.

We have something similar in France for more than a decade. As you are torrenting, you are obviously sharing your ip with other torrent clients and this is where they get you. The agency (used to be called Hadopi but they change their name and can’t recall the new one) is following some torrents, gets your ip from torrent clients and then ask internet provider to give name/address. You then received a warning letter, upon 3 letters received, you can get a fine or go to court.

No, there isn’t aac video . Your post mixed up, You are confusing audio and video codec and don’t give any details for people to help you out. Instead of ranting, ask for help with details (we are not on Reddit)
I’m not 100% sure but this might also depend which OS you are running on your pi. Did change from SD card to SSD few years back for my home assistant setup (now running with a mini pc) at the time I went for a geekpi adapter (can’t recall exact model).
Try a quick ducduck search “sata adapter #yourOS#” and see if a list come up. Here is one for HA (but surely more models are compatible than the ones listed here) https://community.home-assistant.io/t/working-usb-enclosures-and-adapters-with-hassos/212763
Edit: as for SSD, I went for Samsung EVO model
Sidenote: all SSD will be more reliable than a sd card because they are less sensitive to rewrite counts

As far as photo librabry, you can compare the different solutions at https://github.com/meichthys/foss_photo_libraries
On your Xiaomi first time you launched app, you can determine wether you always allow or allow on prompt (but you should still be able to manage that setting afterwards). You also need to disable battery optimization for that app and set app to be able to auto launch in background. This is at least what I do with my home assistant app to determine GPS location in background (app record every 15mn) and no issues with battery draining.
Don’t have particular case to recommend as the one I have has been printed but get one where you can add an SSD. SD card are not well suited for home assistant due to the amount of overwriting.
So pc is consuming 13W, this is with one nvme + one SSD, pic at 30w for a few seconds at boot.
Curious, might have same machine but do consume a bit more, do you have one SSD + one nvme?
You can go to Annas and search “piracy”. Not sure how much materials you will get but there will be some
