True, cutaway locks aren’t needed. I recently heard of a neat idea where you can call around various storage businesses and ask if they have cut locks from people who lost their unit. It won’t be useful to lock anything but great for practice. Unfortunately the one near me throws theirs away regularly so I need to call around more to see what I can find.

Yup! Thats like the one I have from Sparrows. I got their Tuxedo Reloaded set and it comes with all sorts of driver pins and keys to setup yourself.

Lockpicking maybe? Just recently got into it as a bucket list hobbies but it’s actually really entertaining. They sell practice cutaway locks that fit easily in one hand as you fidget about with the lock picks.

I think it depends on the context and situation that leads to contact. Also probably matter what country the make contact with.

If they come here zapping things into dust then the maybe not so. If they come here peacefully wanting to help, I can see some laws put in place pretty quick to try to prevent interactions that could trigger a problem.

Citizenship is not something you identify with. And the only way be “semi-American” is with dual citizenship. It’s not something you identify as like genders.

It’s another thing to be a citizen of a country and not necessarily be proud of it sometimes. But that doesn’t make you semi-whatever.

Not many other ways to make 1.1 million people really angry, on top of all else. Not everyone there is a terrorist, but they all have to pay the price for the actions of those whose are.

No I feel the same way. I think it’s because it’s part of an ecosystem of concepts built with all its predecessors mistakes in mind. There’s still learning to do but the foundation is simple but is also modern.
