I’ve driven a diesel Renault for 12 years (loke 300k km) and didn’t need to replace any of those. The only big unplanned cost I had was a faulty EGR valve, which happened at 600km and wasn’t warranty for some reason.

That said regular oil change for clutch and brakes were mildly expensive, but I guess even for EV you’d want the brake hydraulics replaced the same way.

Edit : just spotted filters. Yeah I replaced every filter every service, but with how grimy they look, even in EV I’d argue for replacing them.

Where did the matter/energy for Big Bang come from? On that note, what is outside the border of the universe?

My car happily understands 10tonn signs as 10km/h limit, or pedestrian crossings as motorway (130km/h max). It also hss zero awareness if a speed limit is still relevant (eg have we passed an intersection since).

I don’t have high trust in this tech currently.

Between the housing crisis, economical hardships, ecological collapse and whatever else I’m forgetting about, it’s a bit strange to be surprised at people’s faith being shaken in democracy. Since none of those issues have been seriously addressed pretty much anywhere.

In Russia, there are many vibrant publications, online blogs, and Kremlin critics such as Navalny are part of that spectrum. There are also newspapers like Novaya Gazeta, in which different parts of society in Moscow are permitted to critique each other and it is tolerated, generally, because it isn’t a big TV channel that might have a mass popular effect, its audience is educated people in Moscow. So my interpretation is that in Russia there are competitors to WikiLeaks, and no WikiLeaks staff speak Russian, so for a strong culture which has its own language, you have to be seen as a local player.

It kinda depends. For example half my family likes things on the saltier side, while the other half likes things not very salty. Some after-salting helps a lot to make everyone happy. It doesn’t fully replace proper salting while cooking, though.
