How strange it is, to be anything at all.
A cranky biologist who means well. My hobbies include long walks off short piers and anything science related.
How strange it is, to be anything at all.
It sounds crazy to you because you have apparently had success handed to you through no work or special virtue of your own. Maybe get out of your comfy bubble a bit
Keep sharing the tapes.
I finally got a widget I modeled in OpenSCAD to print correctly in my resin printer. The shape is such that supports were really challenging.
It’s interesting to me because I have graduated from the ‘tchotchkes’ phase of printing into the realm of making functional parts that further my other projects.
Trying to get Cthulu’s tentacle-beard to print correctly was a good exercise, but designing and printing a useful part feels like a real step up.
Meanwhile, in Utah, a pair of new parents are becoming really charmed by the idea of ‘Brexit’ as a name for their next child.
This has all happened before and it will all happen again.
Grooming the youth, that’s the kind of indoctrination you need. As a missionary, the only non-indoctrinated adults who got into the BoM were, let’s say, simple.
Fuzzy duck, ducky fuzz. Does he fuck? Fuck he does!
I do wish it was more common to realize there is no wrong way to dance (except inadvertently injuring your partner, I guess). It’s your body, wiggle it the way you want

That joke is a bridge too far! 🙄
In addition, in order to get useful fibers, plants are sown at a density of at least several hundred seeds per square meter. They stretch to 2-3 meters tall trying to win the race to the sunlight. Stalks of plants grown in the typical indoor grow way are only good as very low grade biomass for methane digestion or as chips that might serve in hemplime or hempcrete. An insignificant market so far as these technologies are still going through the regulatory processes to be used more widely.
There are effective dual cropping systems that can yield cannabinoids from flower and get useful fiber but it is not common yet either.
As a PhD holder who has worked in healthcare, I really couldn’t use the title doctor because the chance for confusion with a medical practitioner is too high. That’s fine by me, I only use the title on rare occasions such as when speaking publicly in my area of experience. Please just call me Meyotch.
