Regardless of how you feel about subscriptions, it’s a step in making the fediverse a more viable option for that that create content for a living.
Indirectly, but the .bash_aliases
file that has all my terminal shortcuts
I second the idea of looking at audiobooks, especially autobiographies of successful business people

Can you copy/paste your code so that we can take a look at it? Alternatively, if you load a tix on the Clipious GitHub, they might be able to assist.

Look up Stetson doggett on youtube. He has the most granular reviews on the (pre-paid especially) options. Personally, I am content with mint mobile, but I occasionally review his videos just to make sure I’m getting the best price
This happens across all diasporas. I’m sure MAGA-supporting African-Americans would make similarly critical posts about America. I wouldn’t conflate this with the general population
Not in my experience. I am running a docker container and it is one of +10 containers running on my server which is basically a laptop from a few years ago. So far no issues.
I am self hosting my version so that is where my screenshot came from.
If I were looking for a public instance to use that has this functionality, I’d look to some of the European hosts as they are less likely to use Reddit as their de facto platform relative to Americans
SearXNG has a the same functionality as well for free:
You can self-host it or use one of the publicly available instances.
I run Debian 12 and ran into similar issues trying to automount NFS, even down to having to use an alternative console to log in and undo f stab edits
My solution was simple and so hopefully it helps you as well. In fstab, the backslashes don’t cancel out spaces. Since my directory path had a space in it, that would break fstab:
Path/to/your/Video\ Files
breaks fstab
Path/to/your/VideoFiles
good
Simple yet effective. I think that there is something missing romantically in your life and those feelings won’t go away because you bury them
Isn’t getting to know someone better the exact same path you would take if you like them too?
One vote for tracker control so that any apps w/ tracking software have a harder time also.
I’m a recent convert myself. Definitely underrated and if you experience any issues with the publicly hosted versions, they are often resolved through customization if you host your own docker instance
Yeah same. I initially used it for YouTube/Twitter but realized that it’s reinventing the wheel that libredirect already created, and doesnt have the same features like pinging instances or being able to cycle through instances if one goes down.
I still find redirector useful, but now use it for things like redirecting away from guilty pleasure websites or when my locally-hosted teddit doesn’t properly handle internal links.
Their current userbase is not their target userbase. They are trying to reach a more mainstream audience but all of their attempts to monetize are seen as useless by their current userbase.
