While they’re partially correct, this antisemitic trope ignores a lot of context and nuances. For example, Jesus himself was a Jew and so were his initial followers. And there are strong reasons to believe that his crucifixion was a vicious threat towards the Jews of Judea. John’s story also has similar nuances.
