Thanks for your input. I received the message that my comment was removed from “[email protected]”, so that combined with the fact the community’s rule 2 was “no tiktok posts” led me to believe it was a .world action. Your take makes more sense.

That’s helpful, and part of what I’ve found, but I don’t think that’s what I’m looking for.
A comment of mine was removed earlier today and “rule 2” was cited, but I don’t see any relation to the rules in the TOS.
Ugh the ones with the “anti-AI” “licensing”? I honestly don’t know how they expect that to accomplish anything, other than look like a pretentious idiot.
Honest question. Why do you think aggression isn’t a trait that can be selectively bred for or against? Surely you agree other traits can be bred – herding and pointing, to use some common examples.
Jesus. What a shit heel, trying to enlist people during graduation. The fucking audacity.
I am curious – why does the article including the names and photos of his accusers make this more credible to you?
Totally fair. For what it’s worth, my comment wasn’t directed at your post – the title is totally oniony and perfect for this community.
My bafflement was more directed at the article itself.
What a weird thing.
So someone made up a rumor that this Sophia person was dating Jenner. Sophia publicly and transphobically denied this. Sophia is a known member of a transphobic group associated with the Republican party.
Who the fuck started this weird ass rumor? Why are we talking about this? How is this news at all?
Imagine if they didn’t blame an entire people for the actions of their corrupt leaders.
Not the same as the OP, but great song and animation regardless!
Right? Some absolutely braindead takes in here.
In the context of the conversation we’re currently having? Yeah it does matter, because the person I was replying to suggested that all Jews support what Israel is doing.
There are plenty of American Jews that don’t support what Israel is doing.
Not even then. There are countless examples of corrupt prosecutors pushing through convictions because they want a win, even when it was clear the accused was innocent.
Without an absolutely perfect system of justice, I’m not willing to trust the state with executions in any circumstances.
Ehhhh sometimes it goes too far. I remember one time he commented after a mass shooting that, uhm ackshually the flu kills more people than mass shootings so why are you all upset? It was pretty offensive.
You’re right, but there are a lot of people (that I’ve seen, at least) who are willing to abstain from voting over Biden’s handling of this.
Valid point, thank you for the correction.
That’s the sense I’m getting – that she’s a great source often-cited. I figured I was most likely just experiencing Baader-Meinhof.
That’s a major part, but the key problem IMO is that the USA has shown multiple times that a change in president can be enough to shatter existing promises and expectations. Even if we got the most progressive, effective president in the history of our nation, anything they accomplished could be undone by a single change of admin.
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
