I am not super knowledgeable about crypto but I thought Monero was untraceable? All the privacy-focused services I’ve seen allow you to pay by Monero. A few accept cash by envelope too.

kyun.host is mullvad-like insofar as your account is identified by a random account ID and they dont necessarily have an email etc on you (you can provide one so they can contact you if you want but that’s optional). Have not used their services myself but I’m aware of them.
I’m sorry to hear that, but also, what does that mean for people in your country who don’t have smartphones? I know that sometimes people aren’t allowed to own smartphones (refugees, or sometimes imposed on a defendant as part of criminal proceedings)—if you don’t own a smartphone can you just not participate in society there?
Tbh when I’ve been required to install some kind of dodgy proprietary app that doesn’t work well with GrapheneOS I just tell them I don’t have a smartphone and they seem to be fine with that and offer me a “low-tech” alternative for whatever it is (usually some kind of 2FA app). It’s concerning when important things are inaccessible to people without a smartphone, because of course that’s the baseline for things being accessible for everyone regardless of their phone situation, e.g. people with degoogled phones etc.
If your priority is to not give a cent to Google then don’t use GrapheneOS. There are other degoogled OSes for people whose priority is that. If your priority is security then you’d be willing to sacrifice on avoiding anything Google by getting GrapheneOS.
In any case, technically if you wanted to avoid anything primarily made by Google you’d have a Linux phone. The degoogled Android OSes are still based on Google’s open-source code.
Thanks!
Where are you getting this message from? Do they have a Telegram channel where you can get news?
https://libgen.is/ is still working for me
Agree about the difficulty uploading. I tried to share torrents on a few sites for a video game (which was no longer possible to buy or download legitimately anyway) and some books I’d scanned but got rejected 🤷♀️ I understand they have to maintain a quality of uploads and uploaders but it would be nice if they could stay away malware while still making the barrier to entry for sharing your own benign torrents low.
I stopped using those hacked spotify apps as I had to hunt down a fresh new apk every time there was an update and I just couldn’t be bothered. I just dont use Spotify anymore at all. Do you have a good solution to this or are you doing the same?
What I do personally is get any music I want from soulseek and then sync my music directory across devices with syncthing. Although I’m planning on renting a vps to put my music on at some point as it’s taking up quite a lot of my phone storage now.
On desktop I like to use mpd with ncmpcpp. On Android(/GrapheneOS) I’m using Metro as my music player.
I’ve seen people accusing her of being a trans woman before, which obviously she has always responded to with transphobia and denial. I see no reason to believe her to be trans unless you have evidence
Given how expensive phones are in terms of environmental cost you really shouldn’t be buying new phones unless your current one’s broken to the point of unusable.
I think they typoed “fully”
I usually just pirate ebooks, rarely videos or games, so my piracy doesnt take up much space. For videos I just keep em around since I have the space, and if i need to clear space I can just delete something I’ve already watched. And tbh I don’t remember the last time I pirated a game, I don’t play games a lot and the ones I do play I own legally lol
Oh I do pirate music too. It’s currently not taking up much disk space so I’m not bothered. I would probably just buy another drive if i ran out if music space.
Does the torrent listing have any comments? Ofc positive comments doesn’t guarantee it’s not malware but I wouldn’t chance it if there’s no comments
That was the url my personal Z-library url redirects to, unless my personal url was compromised? Like, remember when they first went back online and you had to register to get your own url to access zlib? I’ve just been using that
Try https://z-library.se/ ?
If not, libgen normally has what i’m looking for anyway
I have heard from friends that they got banned for using adblockers on free Spotify. I used a tool, forgot what it’s called, for the brief time I had Spotify Premium where you could give it access to your account via the API and it’d search music piracy websites to download all the songs and albums in your library. After I had downloaded my library I cancelled my subscription. So that was entirely within Spotify’s ToS. (Music piracy is still illegal, but the violation didn’t happen against Spotify.) I suppose if you wanted to do this then doing something like that, where you just look the song up on music piracy sites and don’t actually download from Spotify directly, would be less likely to get your account banned. You still need Premium to access the API, but you could just scrape the webpage if you want.
You are in a piracy community
