Shit, I better see a Doc. If only I could, but I have glaucoma or something.

Same. I played a lot of the originals. I now emulate a lot on Steam Deck, and they always look better without the CRT stuff.
I disagree. I emulate a lot, and the CRT stuff makes them look worse to me. Just adds noise to the image.
Uhhhh, also don’t store loaded guns? Like, at all. Anywhere.
It’s always been a slur to differently abled people. Some grow up and go through life hearing it constantly as a way to shrug them off as disposable or something. It’s a way assholes in society treat them like shit.
What’s gone on recently is offensive cause there are real people who through life being called that and other names as a way to disregard them. Having to hear how it’s been openly used lately isn’t great, but people don’t get it. They think some things are harmless merely cause it doesn’t affect them or someone they care about.
I don’t understand how the organization doesn’t collapse. It shows how, like so many things in society, people are inhuman scum, that they keep oppressive systems and organizations alive despite mountains of evidence of its harmfulness.
Something something muskets something 2nd amendment… ah forget it.
I feel the country spent the 90s hiding racism, and it came out during the election. I knew things were going south when McCain at that town hall in 2008 had to shut down an elderly woman trying to be racist about Obama, amd McCain had to defend Obama as a great person and that they simply have policy differences, and McCains own supporters boo’ed him.
MAGA and Trump are for sure symptoms and products of a pre-existing condition.
Some go as far as saying Reagan ending the fairness doctrine in news gave rise to Fox news which unraveled the closeted racism in time to hate Obama, and then I wanna say Obama roasted Trump in 2011 and I once read that some in his inner circle admit that triggered Trump to look at running for President cause he was butthurt. Although Trump talked about running since like the mid-80s.
Ehh, he’s a kicker. He doesn’t really play the game.
Works on Contingency. No Money Down!
Reminds me of the Citadel in Idaho. Wonder how that experiment went. That place had mandatory firearms.
The vast majority of Americans still live on the east coast. Something like 80% of our population is east of the Mississippi River still. People didn’t “go west” as much as school had us believe.
I remember seeing a project around a decade ago that tried to pinpoint a geographic population center, and I think it had barely moved to Eastern Ohio, much less farther west. And in recent years there’s been a huge amount of people relocating from West back East, mainly North Carolina.
People move, populations change. What is a “center” now will change.
I personally feel Wall-E is unrealistic, because clearly at some point they decided to have robots do everything, and the people simply get to lounge around, get fat, and have all their worries cared for. This represents a society where technology made work unnecessary for humans, and generally most humans reap some benefits of it.
This would never never happen. No. The robots will take the jobs, the rich will get richer. We will be left on earth to die horribly.
The least productive Congress since the Great Depression? The same Congress who couldn’t pass a budget for the government until 6 months into the very fiscal year it’s for? That Congress? Priorities.
Now, to be fair, in the Punisher TV show they also refused to make pretty boy Jigsaw actor look as fucked up as his face really SHOULD have looked according to the comics.
Also why some characters that NEED to be wearing masks or helmets conveniently are not. Like in race cars or in space. Or the face protection is unrealistic so we can still mostly see them.
There’s also some funny times where comic characters who can’t breathe in space are merely wearing a small covering of the mouth, and maybe nose, but not eyes/ears.
Literally has to force in their own “I am no man” line.
The series goes from “magic wands require extreme responsibility and must be used carefully,” to machine gun wands.
Same reasons I find extended comic universes to be appalling. Why don’t superheroes just use all of their powers all the time? Why isn’t the more powerful superhero conveniently here right now? Why do we have to pretend there is a struggle?
The minute 2 or more superheroes are put together, it’s basically ruined cause all their powers are only used as convenient for the story.
Elves and Dwarves done like every other Elf and Dwarf. Especially when they go out of their way to give the Dwarf that overdone Irish/Scottish accent written out in damn near unreadable text.
Also when the worldbuilding and plot basically is “here’s some not so thinly veiled racism between groups who will set that aside to fight a common enemy.” Series ends on a high note, but you know this world will fall into disarray again cause people suck, so like, what was the point.
So the oil companies have a limit and eventually it will stop.
