Passkeys should display a QR Code for you to scan with a trusted device if you try to use them on a device that doesn’t have your passkey stored.

I can literally buy the cheapest stuff in my grocerie store here and it still tastes somewhat decent… Shouldn’t have to be expensive. Making decent chocolate isn’t exactly rocket science. But hey we are talking about the US where fresh bread apparently still is kind of rare and most people eat Wonder Bread (why it’s even called bread is beyond me though…)
As a Swiss person who likes chocolate, that sounds disgusting 😱
Fair. I do that with most coworkers. I have one maybe two I consider friends and we do stuff outside if work. Those are the people that know me. Everyone else knows the work version of me.
Couldn’t agree more. I decided to become a chef as my career of choice after school, cause I liked cooking. Can’t remember me cooking at home once in the three years of my training and the year I worked the job afterwards. Now I love it again and cook (almost) exclusively for my wife and me.
Liking your job is cool but making your hobby your job and still keeping it as a hobby works out for a very small minority of people. For most it either destroys your hobby or you start resenting yout job.
You buy some fruits (or grow them in the garden) and ferment them… how is that more involved than growing a canabis plant and dry it?
I think it’s even worse: If I’m curios and buy a ticket yet absolutely hate the film after seeing it, i still paid a ticket. So Ticket sales are absolutely unrelated to the quality of the movie.
I also just started to realize how out of touch most critics are with regular viewers (or me at least). Some films on IMDB have horrible critics reviews yet the user reviews are almost always higher or even quite decent.
Biology isn’t binary. I would stop looking for labels and just be you.
You got a lot of good advice already. I just wanted to add: Do not share your Apple ID with someone. Always leads tk trouble, lost data and things that people see that shouldn’t have seen it.
If they are 10, use family sharing and create a Children Account for them. All the benefits, non of the issues.
Here’s how this works: https://www.apple.com/family-sharing/
Hypothesis not Theory
Definetly periods, stupid design and incredibly rare in mamals anyway.
Also, a change of our metabolism, our current way to deal with excess energy is outdated. And maybe make us resistant to cancers, that shit sucks.
Dumb question: Aren’t mechanical keyboards inherently loud after? Always what kept me From buying one :-/
I read this same sentiment two days ago; Google doesn’t work for me.
Not sure what they are on about. I can find things I‘m looking for on Google in under a Minute 9 out of 10 times and I tend to use it quite heavily tbh…
Surely anecdotal, but I have never clicked on a Google Reddit link that didn’t let me to an actual post, most of the time with the actual info I was hoping to find and never have I been served SEO pages.
There was a slight influx of AI generated nonsense a couple months back but that stopped. On my iPhone i Use DuckDuckGo and an perfectly happy. On the Mac where I have more ways to block stuff I use google and also don’t have any issues.
May I ask what kind of things you usually search for?
It does. And also just plain old bribing. I work for a big Tech Company, and while I‘m only a Retail employee, I have been offered quite some money throughout the years to share my logins (which honestly wouldn’t get you very far). People with more acces than me (Managment or Support employees) apparently received offers in upper 5 Digit territories. If you ask enough people, I‘m not 100% confident that all would say no to that. But to be fair, there’s a lot of hurdles now in between those things with acces being restricted to internal networks, multi factor and trusted device policies a real crackdown on who has access to what. Passwords allone don’t get you very far anymore.
Tradition, mostly.
Dickens used Merry Christmas in his Christmas Carol and the US used the greeting since the 19th century.
In the UK however, happy christmas is more common as the royals used that phrase.
There’s apparently no big thing behind it. Just the way language evolved with different influences in different regions.
I use Newsexplorer for upwards of 40 feeds now. Never had an issue.
I mean to be fair you could just show the Screenshot and then link the image to the tweet (or whatever it is called now…). Best of both worlds (but more work)
I mean eating onnions and then sipping on a coke isn’t exactly the same as an onnion INFUSED coke :-/
This.
