Growing up in the 60s, we saw anti-littering commercials, called PSAs (Public Service Announcements),on TV every day. Ask any older American what they remember about those PSAs, and they will say “The crying Indian.”

Today, they never show those anymore, and i am seeing young people littering as a result. I was recently in a fast food lot, and saw a car pull in, a young guy about 20 get out, and throw a bunch old fast food trash into the bushes, then walk into the restaurant. He passed a trash can next to the door on his way in, where he could have tossed his trash, but he just tossed it in the bushes instead.

I collected up the trash, and set it on the hood of his fancy hot rod.

I’ve seen plenty of similar examples in the last few years, because young people dont see those PSAs telling them not to, and even their parents havent been educated to teach them.

I was a 12 year Redditor, with nearly 1 million Karma, so I was a major contributor for over a decade, yet I was recently perma-banned for repeating a perfectly normal anti-Trump/ anti-Insurrection opinion that I had previously stated numerous times with no warnings. Once Trump was elected, I was PERMANENTLY banned the next time I stated that opinion.

Ohanian has announced that he wants to buy TikTok, and everyone knows that TikTok’s new American owner will be personally chosen by Krasnov, so hell want make the Sociopathic Oligarchs compete like dancing monkeys. Only those who have followed his orders, smooched his fat ass, and paid sufficient bribes will be considered. So they are combing through Reddit and banning anyone who might hurt HitlerPig’s feelings.

At first I wasn’t happy about the much smaller comment sections on Lemmy, but then I realized that it also isn’t flooded with bots, trolls, endless stupid terrible puns, and overmoderation.

After Jan 6, I said that those traitors were lucky America is such a tolerant nation. In many other nations (most of them, in the past), that evening, after the Insurrection had failed, HitlerPig and the rest of his henchmen and family, would have been dragged out onto the White House lawn and publicly executed.

I wasn’t condoning violence, just pointing out that he couldnt have gotten away with it almost anywhere else on the planet. I had written that comment, or similar, many times, but once HitlerPig was in office, and Reddit decided to kiss his feet, it became a permanent ban.

I was seeing posts talking about this happening widely on Reddit, but now that I’m on Lemmy, it seems to be much worse than I suspected.

I said that the traitors in the White House are lucky that we are such a tolerant country. Now I’m hearing that they are banning people for UPVOTES! I wondered why Reddit had decided to throw in with the Nazis, and I this week I see in the news that Ohanion wants to buy TikTok. The new owner of TikTok will be personally chosen by HitlerPig, so Zuckerfuck has been kissing up, and now Ohanion wants in on it. HitlerPig will award it to whomever kisses his ass and pays him the most.
