I understand at some jobs you just don’t meet compatible people and this is the better strategy. But I can’t help but feel it’s a bit sad. I made some long lasting friendships at my job. It all depends on the situation.

The line you’re trying to draw is very arbitrary, so it still feels a bit hypocritical.
I feel like it kind of is. There are surely other investment possibilities. Why choose the one you’re against?
This is a beautiful and thoughtful answer.
It’s not my style but it doesn’t stand out to me. Also, to each their own. So I’d say the answer to your question is the last one you suggested - you’re one of the olds now. Please, try to stay benevolent and empathetic to the younger or just different ones.
It’s not about representation, it’s a symbol for being cool, visually unrelated to the person you’re calling a chad. And it’s intentionally extreme.
Czechia as well, pretty sure more European countries.
As a tourist I was fascinated by the colourful lighting of the falls and the amount of tall buildings around. For some reason I used to imagine the Niagara Falls as a beautiful natural site.

I think they meant it as no other partners, not no other kinds of relationships whatsoever.
Very formative experience, indeed.

Also new Bones
Everything different must be dumb and wrong and overall inferior.
My volume changes a lot. When I’m full of gas, I look like I’m pregnant.
I know someone who did a research on color preferences in very very young kids. Girls loved pink from the very beginning. Boys prefered yellow at first and later moved to the traditional blue or green. I see several ways to interpret the data. Could be that girls tend to like pink naturally and boys start to like blue as they inzernalize the stereotype, or girls internalize it much sooner, or it’s something else. It’s interesting non the less. Also, obviously, daltonics have completely different color preferences. It’s fun.
Oh, I hated his role in Blade Runner 2049. Not his acting, just the role. It seemed forcefully implanted in the story to make it more action-filled. I also hated the recreation of young Rachel concept. It made no sense to me and felt like it should make no sense to Decart either. I wish Leto’s role would have been toned down to allow for the film’s meditative and well emotionally built parts to shine.
Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. The comment states that they don’t really know Pedro Pascal and can be taken as just funny, absurd and quite neutral.
You say the workplace is women-dominated. Are there any women not participating in the drama? Asking because you didn’t mention and, in my experience, there usually are a couple quiet no-nonsense ones. Perhaps they could be more relatable to you.
