As far as I know, matrices were a “pure math” thing when they were first discovered and seemed pretty useless. Then physicists discovered them and used them for all sorts of shit and now they’re one of the most important tools in in science, engineering and programming.

What makes you think a human brain has anything to do with general intelligence? Have you ever talked to people with a human brain?

I was way more excited to buy a cool new rug for my room as a teenager than I am now, the one in my living room is annoying but I’m too lazy to look for a better one. So I don’t really understand the concept. I guess I’m “I don’t give enough fucks anymore about unimportant shit”-old.

I wouldn’t be surprised if on average women’s feet were narrower than men’s, but even if that’s the case, just make narrow and wide versions of shoes and let people pick the ones that fit their feet. Surely there are men with narrow feet and women with wide feet. It just makes no sense.

As a woman, I think it’s stupid that shoes are gendered in the first place. My shoe size is in the realm that exists for both men’s and women’s shoes. So in shoe stores I can grab the same sneakers from the women’s and the men’s section. Just sort the damn shoes by size and let people pick the ones they like ffs.

What does that mean “use my own computer”? Do I need to have all the media files on my computer then? Where would I get those from?

Can you ELI5 for me what this does? I don’t quite get it.

Two thoughts on this:

1. There are probably way more men out there than you think that feel very similar, but are ashamed to be open about this, especially towards male peers, and therefore build a facade of manly manliness that doesn’t reflect their actual personality.

2. There are probably way more women out there than you think that like exactly this personality. Dude, a lot of women like women. Women are usually not very manly. So if there are enough women liking women, there are enough women liking dudes like you. Don’t worry. Lots of women aren’t attracted to macho-type guys at all.
